I think I lost my way with my blog. I spent too much time trying and failing to get blog hits that I forgot that my original intent of the blog was to write and write about writing. Instead I got caught up writing reviews and finding cool links and trying desperately to get more views than the day before.
New Year’s resolution: Stop doing that. I was keeping a schedule of an article a day (which I maintained for 85 straight days) and sometimes just threw any old thing on there just for the sake of it.
I’m going to step back and try and put up an article a few times a week and try to only put up good stuff. I will continue my Big Batman Read, posting my Audienceseverywhere work, try and get back into 100 Word Novel, do some Friday Fictioneers, do some writing challenges, and write about writing; offering advice and asking for help. Just like the old days.
